Topical (heat) cream

Do you guys use a topical (heat) cream to warm your knees before squatting?

NO, but I do use on my lower back after pulling, helps recover faster.

I can imagine once you do wrap your knees, they will feel like they are on fire, using knee wraps can be painful enough as it is.

Knee sleeves work well, especially the neoprene type. I also use a linamint (sp?) from EFS.com - its a horse linamint that is blue. It works really well and helps to 'sweat' the area. Use it on the low back too.

I knew a guy who used to apply heating cream and then put his knee wraps before hitting the gym

He would then warm up and get rid of the wraps for his workout

It's just that wraps are not very convenient when you squat ass to the floor
