doesn't look too promising

they been pumping shit down the hole for about 4 hours and it still looks like the same flow rate of oil cuming out to me :worried:

Poor Gulf Coast...... and peoples livelyhood

How can the US be so powerless to help its OWN citizens...... in domestic crisis?

I don't understand it..

What if lightning hit the oil and ignited a super fire ball that was then swept up into a tornado of fire that tracked over land and destroyed everything in its path?...Wait I think I saw that on a Sci-Fi movie...nevermind

You love the idea of pumping a shit hole for 4 hours, don't you?

Too bad you don't like them flesh tacos.

Lot of Mo's in the oil industry.

The oil giant pumps heavy mud in a bold attempt to plug the gusher

I'm gonna have to take your word for it. Gaydar isn't in my repertoire.

What a F**king gong show!!! This will undoubtly be the largest enviromental disaster in history.. WTF are the long term effects going to be? Sketchy!

But by all means let's continue pursuing underground oil to refine as our primary worldwide fuel source. It's just so much more expedient, cost effective and environmentally friendly.

Only if we can force them to do it miles out and miles deep so it will be much harder to manage.

I think the whole thing sucks

I KNOW, lets send our natl guard in to clean up like we did for katrina...

if you got a solution, the world is all ears.. there's tons of money to be made in cleaning this mess up and that is the best incentive you can throw at people nowadays..

if there was an easy fix, it would be done already. it's called a crisis for a reason.

YES I have a solution

Fight it with the same verosity as we fight Wars.....

battalions, tanks, ships etc.......

Cry me a river on how much it will cost, Bill BP as the law allows

On the news yesterday it showed BP employees leave once the president left for a dumb ass photo op..

cool cut into there billions of dollars profit per year and take it out of CEO pay for a quarter......its the least they could do for being such stewards of the earth.

First quarter 2010 results | Press releases | BP

They'll have to make it up one way or another. Either they'll charge more or their shareholders will take it on the chin.

I'm hearing reports about how the MMS employees were surfing porn, using drugs and goofing-off with the same people they were supposed to be regulating.

There's got to be a private-sector method to regulate/insure these kinds of disasters. I don't like the liability limits either. Companies should be on the hook for 100% of the damage/cleanup/liability.
