Hey Beast...Your a non-plat too...but I can't see it...just a tiny black square. :)

Nope, it says I have to be Platinum to view it... as much as I'd like to pay money to get karma which I can spend to do thing I dont want to do and get mass PM's about revolutionary things I have no interest in, I'll opt for regular member status. :)

says '...arms should be sticking straight out to the sides, elbows NOT tucked in and the bar should be at upper chest shoulder level.' when doing rack lockouts

why is that?

when doing racklockouts i normally use the same form as in doing a regular bench press, or i do them close gripped with elbows tucked at max

i can see the point in 'upper chest shoulder level', because it probably hits the tris more, but i don't grasp why the arms should be straight out?

wouldn't that mean that you'll be locking out with a bodybuilding-bench-press form - arms sticking out, elbows not tucked?

when driving the bar back towards the top the elbows are tucked at the bottom but begin to flare out towrads the top..

when using a comp grip you cant tuck your elbows at the top (the last few inches)
