The Zoo saturday. We went to the ape house and he sat right next to two gorillas. They were kinda wrestling with each other and playing while he was within a foot of them. The look on his face was so priceless. He kept calling the foot of the silver back his hand because their feel have what almost looks like a thumb. One of the best days ever.

Then he pooped his pants on the train and we had to make a b-line for the restrooms. he had to go commando on the way home

he was still talking about the animals on Sunday morning. Just weird stuff like singing songs about it. "we goin to the zooooooo" We gonna see the animmmmmalllls. We see the snakes. We see the bears. We see the pummmmaaaaaaaasss.

Freaking cute as hell. Its funny his mom tries to compete with me now on what we do with him. She took him to the st. patricks day parade last sat. I took him to the zoo the park and swimming all in the same freaking day. I am the fun time dad for sure.

Yeah it is the suck right now but we were just so happy that he finally started to pee pee in the potty that we put up with the poophing. He did tell me the other day that he had to pooh and i set him on the pot. He ripped a fart and said oh I done now.

my dad never took me to the zoo. i did go on a class trip to the bronx zoo and that was great. good stuff, he will appreciate it when he gets older. in the end, they might not remember what you said or even what you've done, but they will definitely remember how you made them feel. you probably made him feel like the happiest kid on the planet.
