Too much sleep a bad thing??

Since I got home from college I have been sleeping for like 10 hours a night. Is too much sleep a bad thing? I would think fasting for a long time isnt good, but the rest is. I also remember my track coach telling us not to oversleep......
 
to much sleep makes me lazy,and if I sleep that long I will wake up atleast once to down a shake,I plan my sleeping out including meals any more than 6 hours I wake for food
 
Just plan to wake up in the middle of your sleep to down a simple shake, and enjoy the recovery that you'll be getting.
 
I don't think too much sleep is bad, just as long as you don't have an illness causing you to sleep too much. "Normal" for me is 9.5 hrs. You are probably just really worn out. Rest up!
 
long sleep screwes up my workouts , it makes me lazy
 
I think it depends.
When I was a student(last year) on my free time I was always sleeping and that mess up with my sleep cause when it was 10PM/00AM I would still be up and excited and lazy during the morning/afternoon but now I work from 7AM to 7PM from monday to saturday so on sunday I sleep the entire day! It feels so good!

I used to be a member and am still trying to be a member of the 9+ hour a day club of sleeping.

the human body needs to rest at least 8 hours per day, so why 2 more hours can be bad?

sleep makes you look younger!!
