too long on anavar?

This is my first post on here, been lurking for about a year now.
I have just run a 6 week cycle of anavar 5mg/d. However, I decided to throw a competition now into the mix. I'm 16 weeks out. Bad planning on my part, I know. So, my question is, is it okay to keep running the var up until a few weeks out from the show?

Also, I have run other things in the past such as winstrol, T3, gh. My friend (a male) that is helping me prep suggests I run T3 and gh also through contest prep. HOWEVER, I HATED T3 in the past. I think the last time I ran T3 it pulled a ton of hard earned muscle off me. I'm afraid to do this again... thoughts on this approach?
 
Hi and welcome to elite :) I have run var for up to 24 weeks before since your keeping it low at 5mg I don't see it being a big issue. If your not a fan of T3 then don't take it. It is your body don't let anyone even a trainer tell you what drugs to take. I have seen some girls blindly follow trainers on crazy high doses of clen and go into adrenal faliure at the end of the day you got to live with you so make the choice for yourself. I do see GH and T3 going hand in hand as GH lowers T3 so if your not going to do one don't do the other.
 
Certainly don't take anything you don't like. Yes, T3 is known for muscle wasting. You would need to stack with it - var (10mg) and use a fat burner (I like lipoflame but many like clen). Super can better advise.

Was this your first cycle? Did you gain strength while on 5mg? How did you feel when you came off? Those things determine what to do in the future.

This was my first cycle of var in the past I have run several cycles of winstrol, then started stacking it with T3 and gh. I've been experimenting for about 2 1/2 years now.

I never tried var because I didn't have access to it until now. Even though I know I should have tried that before the others, but I went with what I had access to from a trusted source.

I started with 5mg/d with plans to bump to 10mg after the first week or so, however, that's when I found a show in the area I wanted to do. So I kept it at 5mg/d knowing if I wanted to do this show, due to my bad timing I would have to run the anavar for a really long time. I have had some strength gains at just 5mg/d.

I'm thinking I'll still bump it up to 10mg/d but wanted to see what you all thought about running it for such a long period of time since I've already been on six weeks and now the figure show I set the date for is 16 weeks away.

Bump it to 10 if your sides aren't driving you crazy on 5.

Time is different for everyone. I did a long cycle like super and when I came off my hormones were all screwed up - I was miserable for about 3 weeks - and so was everyone else around me. I imagine if you could take winny and stack it you could handle a long cycle. How did you like the combo of winny and T3? (was that when you experienced muscle wasting?)

10 weeks is my favorite but I will be going 15 this cycle.
 
What dose winny did you run? And for how long?

The first time I ran winny, I did tabs and forget how much I ran but I did run for 12 weeks, the bf at the time monitored it. However, I added in t3 to this cycle and was away as fitness director of a "fat camp" and my calories were extremely low. Hence, why I probably had muscle wasting. I was only eating about 1900 calories a day and working out with the kids for 5+ hours a day. Then getting my lifting in at night. I really lost a lot of strength and size.

The second time I ran winny, I ran zambons for 8 weeks at 25mg twice a week. This time I started really noticing knee pain. But it was tolerable, just noticable.

The third time I ran the winny (same dose), t3 and gh. My hair fell out like crazy and I noticed my strength actually go down. So I blamed it on the t3 for the strength decrease. The knee pain from the winstrol became so bad, I struggled to make it 6 weeks before I discontinued use. Continued to run t3 and gh.

This was all over the course of 2 1/2 years. I listened to the ex-bf the first time around and didn't question anything. then I started doing my own research and realized my first cycle was probably wayyy too aggressive, but had no sides so I was lucky.

I'm so afraid of the rebound from staying on so long and then just finishing up a show and dealing with that rebound too. I'm afraid it will mess with my body image quite a bit!

I liked my first combo of winny and t3, but later learned to dislike them both. I went into more detail in the previous post.

Right now I'm exploring my options for the last few weeks of contest prep and preventing rebound as much as possible afterwards. I was contemplating winny for the last couple weeks of contest prep, but my friend who is helping me is suggesting proviron and nolvadex. I'm so afraid I'll rebound like crazy if I go that route!

I'm open to any suggestions you may have to prevent rebound or the last few weeks of my contest prep.

I'm so happy to be able to get other females input on this because I have no girlfriends I can discuss this with as they would freak out on me. So I read books and ask my male friends on their opinion. This forum in just one day has been extremely helpful!
 
If you were at 25mg on Winny and the sides were not to bad there is a slim chance that you will get any sides at all from running 10mg of var even if it was 5-6 months. Most post show rebound is more from what you eat right after rather then what you have taken. The exception of course being diretics but even then if your very carefull with water intake etc you can minimize that as well.
