Even if I tried to fix it that does not change the fact that I never clamed to have a superior grasp of the English language! All I said was that your attempt at looking smart failed.
English is the most confusing and random language on the planet IMHO.
"The military is present" but "the police are present"? Say what?
You park on a driveway and drive on a parkway? Huh?
"I am smart" but "I'm smart, aren't I"?
Come to think of it, there's something horribly wrong with the last one no matter how you word it.
