I said that it is important to use good grammar when you are trying to impress people with big words. When you are just talking casually it does not matter as much, because people can tell you are just speaking naturally.

Even if I tried to fix it that does not change the fact that I never clamed to have a superior grasp of the English language! All I said was that your attempt at looking smart failed.

English is the most confusing and random language on the planet IMHO.

"The military is present" but "the police are present"? Say what?

You park on a driveway and drive on a parkway? Huh?

"I am smart" but "I'm smart, aren't I"?

Come to think of it, there's something horribly wrong with the last one no matter how you word it.

Often times its quite the opposite. Conservative 'straight talk' often appeals to 'common knowledge' obtained through casual observation, which alot(a lot is two words) of the time(there should not be another comma here) can be just as erroneous as the leftwings' disregard for personal accountability.

No, I didn’t. And even if i did, why would you or he take it personally? Big words in a statement are not definitive proof the writer is attempting to slight others...
