Tomarow I start working out at 4:30 am again...

This is what i've noticed...

When i was training at 4:30am, i got 500% better results.
I felt great, I got in more meals, and tha workouts were nuts.
I gained almost 30lbs in those 5 months that i was training at 4:30 am.


I'm doing it again,, starting tonite. Anyone else train early in tha morning?
 
Not THAT early, but I go before work. I've found that I never miss a workout that way. My after work time always seems to get taken up by overtime or other obligations.
 
that is a crazy fuck'in time...i dont think i could ever do that...i wish i could....but i take a few hours to get awake...fuck....your nuts!!!
 
How in hell do you find motivation at that hour?
I find that my maximal strength can't be mustered in the morning.
 
I am an early bird also, and i find it better than working out in the evening because something always comes up that interferes with my workout. 5 a.m. is the way to go!!!!
 
Plus the afternoons are just too busy in there, and you always have guys standing around talking entirely too much!!!

I remember on the ride to tha gym, i'd play some insane music... i'd just be in tha zone..i know that sounds gay, but that's what would happen....

I'd get high off tha fact that while everyone else was enjoying sleep, getting spontaneous erections, dreaming of Barney and their 2 jelly donuts for breakfeast,... i was taking a trip to go meet tha Devil himself, and beat tha fuck outta him.

I loved tha fact that it's always dark and cold as a motherfucker at that time. But that just added to tha pain and made me appreciate shit.


p.s. if anyone sees me online past 11pm , flame tha fuck outta me.

My goal is to be in bed by 11pm.

Before you hit the weights do you down a protein/carb shake earlier? Working out on a empty stomach seems to be the fast track to catabolism, gycogen and carbohydrate stores are very minimal at best.. earlier workouts are great, gives your body a steady supply of nutrients 10+H into the day , post workout... but do you eat anything first?

Well when i first started working out at this time, i wouldn't eat anything first... Still was gaining an impressive amount of wieght, i waz eating a Grip of protein though 420grams a day.

After the first month, i went to Trader Joes and bought about 50 of Twinlabs ultra fuel. I would down half of one bottle on the way to the gym, and half of the bottle on the way back from tha gym. I did get better results after i started doing that.

This time around i'm gonna skip the Ultra fuel and instead mix in 2-3 tablespoons of Honey in some Hot Tea. I've been reading a lot of shit about how Honey taken pre-workout does good things, and tha caffine in the tea might give me a lil boost.

I'll take my protein and shaker cup directly to tha gym and mix my post workout shake there, and maybe drink some Ultra Fuel only as a post workout to replenish my glycogen.

Well it's around 6am right now, and i just got home from my 4:30am workout at tha gym.

It waz fuckin awesome.

Dennis James was there and oh my God, he was tha biggest i've ever...EVER...seen him... at first from a distance he looked like Nasser, but damn.. he was probably twice as thick as nasser...
I told him about the pics that we posted on tha board, and that he looked crazy freaky in them and told him to keep it up.

Damn i still can't get over how fucking big he's gotten. insane.

Anyways, that was a great workout, my chest and abs are about to explode still from tha pump.

My Gym opens at 3:30am. I get there around 4:30. I've made more progress working out in the morning.. Definatly enables you to burn more fat...I usualy have a cup of expresso before I leave the house...Also, if its a large muscle group day..like legs, i'll have a rice cake with about 1/2 tbs of peanut butter before i leave the house.
