todays crazy inj. experience.

well today was my favorite day of the week,why cause its injection day.well up till today i had a wierd inj, experience, well today i think i went thro a nerve but it didnt hurt at all, once i had the neddle in about an inch it felt like i hit something and my but twiched, but there was no pain, this has not happend to me before so i just decide to shot in another place. so i did and this time it went great, no twich and no pain like always. well after i pulled back on the plnger to check for blood there was none,just the normal bubble/bubbels.so i proceeded. well normaly after i pull the neddle out when done ill lay there for a min to see how much blood comes out and up till today there has been verry little, well today i look back and there is a lake of blood on my ass,like 10 times more then everyother time time ive bled. did i hit a nerve and i just didnt feel it, cause this injection went verry smooth with no pain at all,and 30 min after there still is no pain like always. i think i did this injection alittle to far out to the side of my glute,reason is cause i cant reach that far arround anymore,could this be the reason for all the blood? other than that it went well and no pain at all. has this happend to anyone??.

you hit a vein near the surface of the skin and it bled out a little.. that's all..

Some blood vessels have nerves in the(can't remember which) you hit one, that's all. Happened to me Sat, injecting in my quad!!

Nothing like having the pin in over an inch, and your quad decides to start moving around. OUCH!!!!!!

You probably went through a vein on the way in. You didn't inject into it, but after you pulled out the pin, blood came out through the hole. Happens all the time, no worries.

I'd recommend going a wee bit closer to the knee than just the midpoint.

You want to go in the side of the quad. Basically, stand up and let your arms hang at your sides. Inject at about the same level as where your fingers meet your palm. BTW quad injections are much easier than twisting around for glute injections. I wouldn't jab more than 2 ccs of test in the quad first time though, get a feel for how sore you will get.

i'm just curious, i have never heard of pulling back on the needle until recently, so maybe i should start doing it, but what comes out when u pull back, and don't if u inject air into your body the bubbles can go n your heart and you'll die?? whats up??

this is how to do a safe injection:
After inserting it deep into the muscle, pull back on the stopper for a few seconds to make sure it does not fill up with blood which would indicate that the needle had been injected into a blood vessel. Providing there is no blood present in the syringe, slowly press the stopper down until all the oil is injected. Then, quickly pull the needle out and take another alcohol swab and press firmly on the injection site.

of course if ur not in a vein and u aspirate the syringe will fill with a bubble indication that u are not in a vein or blood vessel, which mean your safe to shoot.

This tends to be an important subject ignored by a few bodybuilders, let me just say that if you inject incorrectly you risk one of the following things:-

1. A broken needle in the flesh, difficult to remove and may need minor surgery.
2. An infection or boil at the injection site. If ignored the infection will spread and may infect your bloodstream.
3. Death by injection of an oily substance going around your blood stream until it causes failure of a major organ like the heart, or brain. If your lucky (or unlucky) you might get away with a stroke!!!

Swab the area to be injected
Present the needle at right angles to the injection site and push it right in. Do not jab.

Draw back on the plunger ( this will save your life ), if any blood enters the syringe withdraw the needle and choose a slightly different site and repeat the process. (blood in the syringe may indicate that it has entered a vein or artery, if you inject there………)
If all is well push the plunger firmly, but smoothly, home. Remove the needle from your flesh and swab, rub the injection site gently to assist in distributing the medication. If the injection site bleeds a little you have gone through a blood vessel or vein, this is ok as long as you haven't injected into one.

It is fine to inject your own blood back in and the bubbles are not air but a vacuum bubble. It takes about 3cc directly into a major blood vessel to kill you though. The blood would be from passing through a vein as the blood shoots out on aspirating when you stop directly in one. It is good practice to use 2 swabs. One to clean the area before injection and one after pulling the pin out to massage the area and stop any bleeding.
