yesterday I posted under a different ID about the DEA coming to my place. I did that to hid identity, but then posted under my usual sig. My fault.
I sent what I knew about a source to a admin. It is a source I used a LONG time ago, dont even know if anyone here even uses them, this was back in like 1999.
I did get a lawyer, the best, and it is all taken care of as of Monday. If you get a lawyer, my advice, get the best in town who knows people. Nothing is going to happen to me. I am down.

I apologize for getting everyone in a frenzy, you just have to understand I was FREAKING OUT!! All is well now. Once again, as for the source, no one here has to worry about him. Sorry about causing a fuss.

P.S. For those who called my post b.s, eat me.
 
thanks slat. I have missed you guys. Have not had a chance to get on lately. I will talk more this weekend about it. But like I said, GET A LAWYER, and a good one with connections maybe.

Next...WTF!! Why didn't you just say it was from a source you used back in 1999 in the first place! You started a landslide with that. How old are you anyway

I know lawyers have different prices all over the US and depending on each specific case, but can you tell us how much it'll cost to get you through this? Just wondering what someone would be looking at to bail himself out in a time like this.

Hey Lardo, you have always been cool with me, but I must admit I was a little bent yesterday. BUT, I do appreciate you coming on here and owning up to your mistake, thats what a real man does. I'm not going to beat a dead horse here because I know IF this happens again you will email a mod and handle it the right way. We all make mistakes and errors in judgement, so no worries and K to you for steping up to the plate and trying to make it right.

Glad everything is ok. Damm '99 is a long time ago you would think they would srap those records. Why do we have some one copping a major attitude about this, nice red karma btw!

Just have to stress to you guys, as much as you guys freaked out, think about sitting in your living room with 20 minute to go till you have to be at work and your gear is on the table in front of you with three agents there. The rest of the day your mind is blank and does not work properly.

K for you phatrr. Actually, everything is taken care of already. Come monday morning, it is all done and closed. They have bigger fish to fry, but my money WAS spent well yesterday afternoon. The lawyer knew the dea. It also helped I went in there acting like a whiny crying 13 yearold :)
 
Oner thing, I would like the mods to consider... Some of us were around back in the day, and placed regular orders even up to 5 years ago. If Lardo in fact used his source back in 1999, there may be others that can expect visits and such.. I know of a few different so called "private" mexi sources, one of which has been around 7 years. Quite possibly could be HAD been around 7 years by now
 
When monday roles around, I will let everyone know.

Ya, it is ok. My dumb as fault for not being ready. If you are going to play this game, be ready for any outcome. Never had to deal with something that serious. When I posted on the board, it was like I was stoned. Just fucked up beyond belief. I have not even read the rest of the posts to my thread, I am sure my asshole go ripped apart though :)

Good to hear your alright lardo. That's the way the US works today for anything. You have a good lawyer/better than the other, it doesn't matter what you've done you'll probably come out on top.
 
No harm no foul Lardo, and I'm glad to hear things are turning out OK for you. Frankly, I think it was good for EF to be in suspense about this for a day. It got us thinking more about how to handle these situations, instead of just BSing and comparing cycles all day long. The reality is that this kinda shit could happen at any moment and we should all be ready...

Good point. This should be discussed. Not just "you should have, whey didnt you, you fucked yourself, etc etc.".
Hindsight is always 20/20 right. Ok, thats fine. Lets use me as an example then and learn from me fucking up.

I still say it would be cool to have one of our sponsors sponsor some kind of Q/A with the collins guy. Not just the normal stuff, but stuff that everyone is debating. Talking to the DEA, to the cops, what to do, etc etc. Would be very informative.
