To those with allergies

I have severe allergy problems, and when I do any kind of cardio, I actually can breathe a lot better.

Ditto... cardio helps me breath.

Best move I ever made in my life... getting on Nasonex spray. It actually returned my sense of smell.

nasonex spray? is that over the counter or prescribed? I have been hit lately with the allergy bug HARD. I need something to drain out all of this mucus.

well, when I get stuffed, if I participate in any physical activity, my sinuses just open oup for the time that I am moving. when my nose runs for what seems forever, I think that stops as well when I am active.

I had the same problem for a while. I had taken ephedra in some form or another for years, and stopped because of the potential impact on glycogen uptake, and the definite impact on my blood pressure.

After being off for several months, I was short of breath all the time. The doc gave me samples of nasonex and another inhaler, which I used for a couple of weeks, then after they ran out, I didn't go back.

Seemed like it just took a while for my body to adapt to no ephedra, and interestingly enough, have had NO allergy trouble this year.

One of my sinuses is usually always stuffed up and the other one is stuffed up just a bit. IT'S LIKE THAT ALL THE TIME, day or night, therefore, I'm usually forced to breathe through my mouth when I'm running because of the stuffed nose.

I usually have a hard time breathing because my septum(the nasal wall that separates the nostrils) is pushed to the left so the right hole is larger than the left inside the nostrils. you should get a professional opinion about your breathing if you have to breathe through your mouth during any physical activity. that just isn't breathing efficiently and properly.

umm, my allergies started acting up on thursday, and I didn't take anything until saturday, and I had taken 3 doses (6pills total) of tylenol's max strength sinus/allergy med. I think that has pseudoephedrine or something in it, which I think is the main ingredient for suppressing my sinus troubles. once that wore off though, back it came.
