You see I have this new job and it's very, very stressful but I make good money and I have the weekends off and home at night (I'm a single parent). I drive a big truck and I'm afraid that I'm gonna accidently hurt someone on the road. Just a fear, because we're always being rushed. Just pray that doesn't happen please. It would be devastating.

we have to pray just to make it today

if you see a white celica stay far away from it, thanks

Hahaha! Now, that's funny. I just wish they didn't rush us. We are always in a hurry.

Thank you all. REally. I was serious. :)

Don't let them rush you. Drive safe, stay off the cell phone, and get a CB. If you get tired, talk to someone. Besides, it usually isn't the big trucks that cause the wrecks. It's us idiots in the four-wheelers. Truckers are good people. I talk to them all the time on my CB. Stay safe and change employers when you can. I'm assuming your with one of those "we paid for your training so we own you for a year" companies. Maybe you're not, but any company that pushes profit and gain above safety is no good to work for.

Dearly beloved, bow your head in prayer,
If Bitme's truck is on the road
Make sure that I'm elsewhere.

Amen.

Deadset,I have a mate who drives a rig and its no joke. You have to be on the ball the whole time or its game over for somebody.Try going down a mountain range in a garbage truck with 13 tonne of rubbish in the back pushing up against the cab.He had the brakes on nearly full and the weight of the load was still pushing him all over the show.I pray for you brother because death on the roads is all so real. Its a very unthankfull job but truckies have tremendous responsibility.

Don't let them rush you darlin..

Ill send my prayers and thoughts your way. :rose:

My prayers are with you sweetie - take care and stay clear of the negative crap its hard enough being a single parent let alone adding more to the mix --- stay safe darling God Bless!!!!:bigkiss:

Keep the shiney side up and the rubberside down, Hombre.

the nature of the business is to pressure your drivers. ignore the guy busting your chops, keep your speed where it needs to be, leave less to chance, and youll need the prayer im sending you less :)

Yep. It won't be so bad for my ex because she is just transporting race horses so no heavy loads, but they drive the trucks 24 hours a day, two people per truck on 12 hour shifts, so it can get monotonous. It's a tough life, lots of responsibility and pressure.

If they are making you drive too fast just to make schedules,
put a big ass sign on the back of your truck reading

HOWS MY DRIVING ?
CALL {Bosses office number here}

Thank you all very much each and every one of you. It was a very rough day. Nice to see encouraging words.
