to Flu Shot or not to Flu Shot?

I have a quick question. I don't want to get the flu this year but I have already started my cycle. Is it a good idea to get a flu shot or not while on my cycle?

Flu shots always make me feel like crap. Remember that flu shots actually give you a tiny bit of whatever flu strain is most prevelent in your area at that time so your bodt will become immune to it, but it's hit and miss, i.e. you could get the shot and STILL get friggin' sick. At least, that's what I've been told by my doctor.

I got one mid-cycle and I didn't get sick, but everyone's different. Lucky me I guess.

Get the flu shot after your cycle is finished. Just to be on the safe side.

Flu shots are cheap and I beleive very much worth it. You might get the flu even if you had the shot but it won't be nearly as severe.

Actually, from what I've been told about the flu shot is that it does have the flu virus in it but it actually a dead virus so you cannot get the flu from a flu shot. It used to be a live version but I believe that's not the case anymore. Also, I was told that the flu shot only helps against approx. 30% of the flu strands out there.

Again, not an expert this is what I was told.
