To be a MOD? --- anyone?

How many non-mods have ever wanted to be mods? I can say, I much rather think of myself as a foot-solider than a moderator... although, I do have good speaking and mediation skills.

I guess the perks aren't bad ... you can delete posts, edit posts, access the recycle bin, and have access to the "paved with gold" moderator board. Not to mention the 60K a year with a discretionary bonus... that's a good one.

Anyway, it's been up here before, thought I'd open it up again...

Oh yeah, what about getting rid of mods that don't show up alot?

I wonder what is in the Elite Vault... I picture it to look like a 1000' x 1000' cave with gold coins, magical swords, and jewelry... with a giant dragon guarding it... yeah, and Wodin can be Gandolf, I'll be Bilbo Baggins... hmmm... who else?

actually it's lined with old triple threat from the recall, and lots and lots of the world's best condoms, and from what i hear there's lots of pink there.
 
Hmmm....the vice mod could be responsible for the general baking needs of the rest of the mods. Requests accepted if they're in by 9:21am central time. We all know that a happily fed mod is a fair/all-powerful mod. ;)

There doesn't seem to be a shortage of that around here. I suppose that if the other mods delegated out that responsibility to the vice-mod, he/she could take care of it.

The question is, does he have way to much time on his hands & willing to spend it sitting around locking karma threads? That has to be taken into consideration!!

I just think that the Training board needs more moderation. More posts and responses from moderators on that board. Just my opinion.
