some kid kills himself, frineds make a myspace page memorial, rumors about he killed himself over an ipod (he lost one a week before his death). Some assholes on another site found out, hacked the myspace page and replaced his pic with a zombie, talked shit about him on a message board, called his parents and harrassed them saying they found his ipod, telling them it was him and he needed them to come unlock the door, etc.

Someone left an ipod on his grave......just really messed up shit.

I actually bothered to read it all. Some interesting concepts on morality & quite an eye opener as to how broad & endemic trolling really is.

Summarily, to render yourself troll-proof is to never take yourself seriously or provide information that leaves you emotionally susceptible. Ever. Which makes perfect sense considering the number of people I witness on EF alone that get burned when they indulge strangers their real lives too much.
