i'll get all the pricing info on the various types (oil/cream etc) tommorow when i go to work. if someone else doesn't know off the top of their head that is. about the nizoral, it helps with the acne for some reason. not sure on the mechanism, but someone said to try it once.....and i did it for three days now and it seems the acne on the arms is getting better. need to give it a week though. i also have been using aloe vera cream and benadryl spray (for little red spots i get on my arms for some unknown reason, i think from heat sensitivity). so i am putting a lot of shit on my arms! soon i'll start tee tree oil too.....wanted to see how the nizoral worked by itself first though.

nizoral helps with acne for the same reason it helps with hairloss (well part of the reason). ketoconazole is an antifungal that helps stop dandruff, but it also has anti-androgenic properties, supposedly. So, it's supposed to reduced dht binding in the scalp to fight hair loss. Not sure exactly how it works in the skin, but I would imagine in a similar manner as in the scalp. It reduced androgen binding, therefore helping to get rid of acne. hope this helps.

yeah, what he said. :D that is what i figured too. it cleans out all the shit out of the pores, plus it has anti androgen properties as well. all i know is that it dries out the pimples and makes it so that they don't pop up. as for the tea tree oil, i found these two items at work.....we usually have more but this is about all we had at this time:

Desert Essence Tea Tree Oil Skin Ointment
$6.99 for 1 oz/30ml
smells like shit and includes:
sweet almond oil, tee tree oil, jojoba oil, calendula extract, lavender oil, cetyl esters, beeswax

Desert Essence Tea Tree Oil
$8.99 for .5 oz/15ml
its just the oil itself for swab application
Ingredients are just the pure oil.

i bought them both so i'll try them out after i give nizoral a week by itself.
there was also a "pain relief" tea tree oil cream/ointment. but i didn't need that and forgot the price. i know we got GNC brand of the same shit for even cheaper.....but it is popular and is sold out.

ive used the desert essence tea tree oil...it dries your skin like crazy, almost to the point of pain. but hey the acne goes away
