To all Docs: Please help with IGF-1!

I'm curious to know your opinion on long-IGF-1. I've read all the posts on it here and on other boards and it seems that compared to the usual AAS it has mostly advantages: Rarely any sides at all: No shutting down, no need for pct, no gyno, no water retention, no hair loss, no liver problems, no water retention, no bp problems etc. Most of these things seem to IMPROVE instead!...The main drawbacks seem to be the occurrence of numb/tingling hands and that it makes people feel tired with an increased need for sleep.
QUALITY, KEEPABLE gains seem to be in the 2-2.5lb/ week range...even for guys during pct coming OFF an AAS cycle! This just sounds too good to be true!? In theory it would be possible to go on a 4weeks on, 4weeks off schedule. 26 weeks @ an average gain of maybe 1.5lb/week (to be conservative) would add 40 lbs of lean mass in a year! –At a cost of about one grand, with none of the steroid related sides!! Is this just one big advertising campaign by a few sources or could this be the ULTIMATE product for us?
Obviously this still is in the 'research' stage presently, and long term risks are probably unknown to a large degree...But we are freaks, so we use this stuff before it even has been released as a ‘drug’…At the same time I want to be making decisions that are as informed as possible…Hence I’m asking you for your opinion the subject in general as well as specifically

1)the long/short term sides you suspect to be most likely
2)Administration: It seems many have adopted the pre/post-workout injection schedule, based on the idea that intense training increases the IGF1-receptor concentration in muscle tissue vs. the rest of the body, hence reducing the risk of growing Michael Jordan-sized feet. Does this make sense?
3)What supplements would make the most sense in combination with IGF-1
