When bringing back gear from TJ Is it better to drive across the border with your wife, or walk across?

I like to drive, plus it is easier to hide the gear

WALK!!!!! with your wife. They cannot use dogs on people for one. and in a split second you are through. Don't look like a wieghtlifter. You might think dogs cannot hit on juice. WRONG!!! The dogs that they get are drop outs obtained in Germany. In many instances that did not pass attack training, or explosives, etc.. you never know what they will hit on. They may hit on guns etc... In other words the dog may hit on something completely different in your vehicle and THEN you get popped.
WALK, say U.S. Citizen and go home. DO not engage in conversation and it is not always best to declare stuff because THAT is when you are entered into the computer thus they can tell how often you come and go through if you declare every time.

AND they do use balloons, only they are filled with helium.
