Alright, I wanna hear everyones little tips they use to remedy foot pain. I work 2 16 hour shifts transporting patients from their room to the radiology department. This means that I am standing, walking, lifting patients, pushing them in a wheelchair/stretcher/bed, etc for probably 14 out of the 16 hours. The other two are an accumulation of small breaks and the last hour where it's pretty dead. I know a lot of it has to do with my weight right now which is dropping due to getting back in the gym plus the 14 hour cardio sessions lol
Right now, I just started using two pairs of shoes and socks. One pair is brand new (rockport) so they will take a little while to break in. The other pair is about 6 months old (nike) but nice and broken in. I usually wait until the 8 hour mark to change them out which did help but not as much as I would have like.
Any suggestions would be helpful.
