I am gonna have a job interview on Tuesday ...It has been a while since I had a job interview and I am looking for some good tips to ace the interview..

What would be the usual questions?

How would you answer to " What is your weakness/strong suit?"

Tx

No matter how ridiculous it seems, play the game -- first and foremost.

Also, have a decent answer for your strengths and weaknesses, but don't lay something out there that's devastating. "I burn through at least two grams of coke a day" is a bad one. "I don't take enough time to celebrate successes with members of my team" is a better one.

Do some research on those goofy questions too. I remember it was trendy to ask questions that didn't have answers, just to knock you off balance and see how you move on your feet.

Oh, and you might get things like: "What would your last employer tell me about you that isn't on your resume?"

Good luck!

Generally, among the most asked questions in an interview are:

1- What makes you fit for this job?
2- Why would I pick you over the rest of the applicants?
3- What are your weaknesses?
4- Why did you leave your last job? (in case you're still in that job, why do u want to leave?)
5- what is something you can tell me about yourself that will impress me? (trick question)
6- What is your most outstanding achievement?
7- What did you do at your old jobs?
8- How would you handle (insert conflict a) ?
9- what is your expected salary?
10- what can you tell me about yourself that will encourage me to hire you?
11- how do you feel about the company's values? how do you relate to them?
12- talk to me about something you're passionate about?

These will come in most interviews...I'll keep this list updated if I remember any more. Imp. thing is, research the company you're applying for very well...know their vision, their mission statement, their values, their culture, last year's earnings, dividents payable, next year's target, etc....you will be more confident and you will impress....

Good luck

Just tell them you know PuddleMonkey. You'll be a lock for that job.

^^^^ Works, trust me that's how I got my executive position and a corner office.
