Today at work the boss told us that there will be temporarely laying off people. because of technical problems with the design of what me are manufacturing. the lay off may be for 3 months..or more...fun

are there many temp jobs in your field?

i dont know yet..they will lay people on the 7.march..and the unlucky ones will get a letter in the mail by that time. there are NO temp jobs in my field..i have 3 options as far as i see it

1. relax, live the 3 months of the money welfare gives me

2. look around for some personal trainer courses and such.

3. take a long needed vacation to the states..and hook up with all my friends on this board.

you could use that 3 months really well, so you could use it as one of them sabbatical thingies my teachers took where they would spend a lot of time doing things other than teaching us

so a qualification like personal training would be excellent if harder times happen again, plus you would prbably enjoy it too

a holiday would be cool to but cost $$.....you could do that at a later date. the above seems more sensible

or you could join a ballet group.....you already have the tutu

yeah i know...but the amount of personal trainer education you find in this country sucks. its like you are not supposed to train to look good, or to improve your physic, then you are a vain person. but i'll se what i can find.

oh and BTW...i got major cash allready..so if that was all that were holding me back from traveling i would be looooooooooong gone.

hey then go to the US and get a training certification, 2 birds

maybe try and arrange interiws elsewhere as well, that 3 months isnt a cast iron thing im guessing, from what you;ve said

yeah i will..but i wanna get into the personal trainer buisness..or just work at a gym..that more my style. thats what i love. maybe i'll be lucky enough to get some real friends then too.
