Marxism has at its roots a nasty tendency for a ruling class of intellectuals that will run everything. These are of the same mentality as the neo-cons. Only the neo-cons are using capitalism to consolidate power and turn everyone else into a cog in the machine of their own little Matrix.

Marxists want to use the hallucination of Utopia to trick the masses that it is in their best interests to overthrow the capitalist pigs and to live in harmony. You see what most people do not realize is that relative poverty is the real problem. If everyone around you is poor, then you see nothing wrong with it. That is the real Marxists Utopia realized. They are living to feed the machine and then dying unfulfilled. Another little Matrix.

Happiness comes from true expression of one's dreams and desires. That is not possible in the world of the neo-cons or the Marxists.

Neo-Cons are influencing US policy at this point in time. They also did during the time of Reagan. Now, most people in the world do not like the US as much as they once did. No one trusts the US. Government mistrust is at its highest level since Nixon.

The nuclear arms race is at a fever pitch. Media conglomeration is at almost 100%. War is the norm, not the exception. Civil liberties are restricted. Scapegoating is at the highest level since WWII.

Afghanistan is a war zone with the highest level of opium production in its history.

Iraq is a ravaged country without even basic infrastructure.

If this is not a sign of danger, I do not know what is.
