I do not doubt that many of you have encountered stereotypes or racist attitudes at one point or another. But how many of you have ever observed racism towards your parents or someone else who was close to you? and I am not talking about turning the TV on or getting on the internet and seeing someone else make fun of your ethnicity or blame you for crimes you never committed. What if your parents didn't even understood that they were being made fun of? Do you laugh it off or do you feel angry and want to stand up for your parents and bite the heads off of the people who are mistreating people you love? Or maybe it's not racism, maybe you've seen people degrade or make fun of your retarded sister or brother? Would you be pissed off then? Would you then not feel your blood boiling every time you see someone else making fun of retarded people because you take it personally? Did any of you read Kak's first post??? He said that it is like poking fun of his parents.

Just some questions I had. Feel free to come back with the usual, well, it has happened to me, and it has never bothered me a bit, and because I have reached zen status, and I do not allow such mundane events to affect my chi in any negative ways and you should do the same.

I don't know that EYEPEE should be banned or shouldn't post anymore, and as I said, I did not find most it very funny, but understand what you are laughing at before you laugh.

TAKE THAT FIVE, THEN MULTIPLY IT BY ABOUT 50 OR 100. THAT WOULD BE A MUCH BETTER REPRESENTATION OF HOW MANY BLACKS I KNOW AND TALK TO ON A REGULAR BASIS. MY HIGH SCHOOL WAS ABOUT 80% BLACK OUT OF ABOUT 1600 PEOPLE. I LIVE IN NEW OLREANS CITY. I AM THE MINORITY HERE.

You know, this thread is funny, their is alot of people here who feel strongly about themselves or their heritage. Either way, that is ok, their is also alot of people here who are like me, I'm not racist I hate everybody equally, and love everybody equally. One in the same.

I think the problem with people who think that others can be racist is that they don't get the delivery of the content.
Like Bill COsby said it's in the presentation. Take your favorite meal, and put it on a trash can lid, and your favorite meal all of a sudden becomes less appealing.

Anyways, I thought Eyepee posts had some funny content, but they were very repeditive. O well, I don't think that anyone sould get mad over this type of thing. We all know that racism is here and is not going anywhere, so the most we can do is separate ourselves from those we think do harm. I'm proud to be a 5'11 200 lb 6%bf stud in chiropractic school living in Atlanta.

I'm proud of my parents who sacrificed their own way of life in a new country where they are not welcome just so that I and my little sister could have a better life.
