I was wondering how exactly Kak contributes to the problem of racism on this board? I havent been here long, but I have never read any post of Kaks that was racist toward another race, color or sex....or least not one that was serious.

Well the Eyepee's thread are more about "Internet Protocol" lol the source/manufacturer than about laughing at Asian people. Many people here don't like Bruce Lee the Pill Maker so it's funny sometimes to have a good laugh on him. Now I may understand why someone would be pissed but come on, I've seen worse....

Chris Rock makes fun of black people but I do not see him joining the klan. Getting EYEPEE banned will not fix racism. But it will make things rougher for you because everyone liked him soo much.

He never comes out and puts up racist threads on his own. But when he's defending his own race, he quotes a lot of racist stereotypes and uses words like "Spic" and "nigger", which no one else on this board has ever gotten away with. There's no need to use those words to make a point and defend one's self. It comes across as a little hypocritical.

Like I said, they don't bother me, but if he is offended by the asian references, he should probably tone it down a bit.

OK...I see the point there and maybe he is wrong for using those words to make his point...but what I dont understand is why everyone comes down on him so hard about racist stuff...its not like he has ever started a thread about racist sterotypes or made fun of other cultures...if he did or he used those words in every post or thread...then I could understand a little better.

From mean-spirited attacks? Of course not. But the fact is that Asians simply don't have the image problems that blacks, hispanics, jews, and homosexuals do. Asian stereotypes tend to even be flattering, especially in terms of their intelligence. So it's hard for me to get all worked up about how discriminatory EYEPEE is.
