He is damn fine, isnt he?!
Yes I admit he doesnt look as good with out his hat. I could really care less about his monies. I just remember his old budweiser commercial where he was in his boxer shorts! mmmmmmbiteme said:No, but he's a cool guy. Most women only think he's hot because he's famous and they like the way he looks in a hat. Money increases one's looks from a 6 to a 9 or 10.
rnch said:the only time he looks good is when he has the lovely Faith Hill next to him....she's so pretty she makes even him look good.

Huckster said:Tim McGraw is VERY talented. I must admit though, many of his songs make me sad. He writes and sings very emotional material. Please remember me-don't ever listen to that if you're going through a break-up or someone you care for has moved on.
Mr. dB said:Writes? You think he writes any of those songs?
Almost NO ONE in Country Music writes their own material. Country performers are just fodder for the producers and songwriters. They're a product, a pretty picture they can put on the CD sleeve. They're cattle.
Oh, and the band that plays with him on stage? None of them were on the CD either. All country music out of Nashville is done by pretty much the same crew of first-call studio musicians. That's one reason why it all sounds the same. There's just a few guitarists, drummers, bassists, pedal steel players, keyboardists, and so on, who get the majority of the recording work, every song on country radio is just a different combination of the same cats.
After the CD is recorded, the touring band has to learn the songs and TRY to sound the same as the record.
SoKlueles said:Kenny Chesney writes his own music
Ludendorf said:same with rap artists, rock artists etc
jimi hendrix, did he write any of his own shit?
nope...can you name any of the experience members?
but you convientely don't mention that
Ludendorf said:the true country legends wrote all their shit
quite always stereotyping to fit your arguement
fucking close-minded grumpy bastard.
must suck to hate so much

Mr. dB said:Hendrix did a couple of cover songs, like "Hey Joe" and "All Along The Watchtower" but wrote the bulk of his own material. And played and sang it. The Experience were Mitch Mitchell on drums (one of the true greats) and Noel Redding on bass. Hendrix' Band of Gypsies was Billy Cox on bass and Buddy Miles on drums. In both bands, the same guys who recorded the albums played the live shows.
You're fooling yourself. Once you get past Hank Williams, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings and Merle Haggard, few country hits, past or present, were penned by the person singing them. Almost everyone in Nashville uses professional staff songwriters.
I don't have to stereotype to fit my argument, I work in the music business and have something of a clue what I'm talking about.
Ludendorf said:lol dick i knew you would know the names of the experience, or any abstract band for that matter
db it just strikes me as odd that someone such as yourself, who works in the music business, would be so negative about different types of music
perkele said:Why is it that it bothers you more what he thinks about your favorite music than vice versa?
Ludendorf said:because he claims to be a music lover and as well claims to be open minded.
pity he didn't write his pre-nuptial aggrement...SoKlueles said:Kenny Chesney writes his own music
SoKlueles said:Kenny Chesney writes his own music
Mr. dB said:So being open minded means that I have to like everything that the music industry moguls try to cram down our throats?
Music is just product these days, and most of it is aimed at the lowest common denominator. There's precious little "art" or "expression" on the radio these days. It's ear candy for the masses.
And when did I claim to be open minded? I thought I was a cynic.
perkele said:Even music fans will rank different music genres. You like rap more than you like 80's hair metal. I like jazz/rock/r&b more than I like rap. We both have our reasons why we like something.
i think they have 3 or 4 duets togetherperkele said:I have few Faith Hill CD's. Tim is singing a duet with Faith in one of them, and the song is good.
Ludendorf said:this is where i pwn you perke
it's not that you don't like rap, you despise it.
you talk shit about it every chance you get.
you claim it's not a type of music, no skill, etc.
and that's why i get defensive
funny that you send me all these k pics with old school rappers in them, lol
i'm more of a country fan than a rap fan.
but i appreciate all forms of music, and am not worried so much about my image like you are
SoKlueles said:i think they have 3 or 4 duets together
I think the best one was "when we make love
in the video it was when they first got together and she was sooo preg
it was so romantic
