Baking soda or some vinegar.. should get rid of the smell. also heard coffee beans does too.

If your fridge really smells bad...you need to empty it, and wash the whole interior, drawers, and racks with vinegar and hot water. Then rinse, then dry completely. Some smells won't go away just by tossing in one of those ventilated boxes of baking soda.
