thyroid and test relation

painly

New member
Just a question about test levels and thyroid. Does the level of thyroid hormones t3 and t4 effect the test levels, or do the test levels effect the t3 and t4 levels?

Painly

I am not sure

of the direct connection but a generalized deduction could be as follows:

Most men who medicaly have low test levels also have low thyroid function and high IGF1 levels hence causing the abdomen fat deposits, which also could indicate an insulin resistance disposition.
I think it is a synergistic combination of the 2 but taking t3 to increase test levels would be IMHO ridiculous,Now if one wanted to take test with a low dose t3 to increase the metabolic absorbsion then I feel that would be a correct assumption and might correlate to a higher blood level at a slightly faster pace.

hmm, Yes but in theory higher t3 levels means higher test, i have read (natural test limits mind you). And to be honest i have been on a very low cal diet so my thyroid was pretty much done. I ahve been taking t3, currently at my peak of a mere 60 mcg a day, and have hat more fat loss that ciould never some off, and i can eat mroea dn havent lsot anymore muscle than i ahve on any other cutting cycle. It makes me think these guys who hate t3 are fat lazy abstard that only try dieting on drugs and blame those. If you want to loose fat muscle always comes off a bit to. The thing with t3 is you jsut ahve to eat about 300-500 grams of protien a day and nothing is effected muscle wise. Anyone agree?

so in essence, t3 is catabolic as hell, but in the same regard raises protien synthesis so this can be fought by huge amounts of protien

I agree with the fact that you can can go on a low calorie diet and use a small ammount of t3 to keep the matabolism going, this will cause the fat burning to not plateau. granted you MAY loose some muscle but the fat loss will be much greater. A ratio of about 3 to 1. Some people use way too much. A dose of 20-50mcg daily for 2 months is very effective for fat loss with no rebound effect. Also any lost muscle will come back very quicky.

Sincerely :nopity:
