Those with big guns...

i hit chest and bi together
works good for me, i have 18.5 arms which is considered somewhat bigger tha average:)

I do them like that. I also do chest and bi's & back and tri's. Sometimes arms have their own day...you get the picture.
 
I found what works best for me is to work triceps after chest...
and biceps on it's own or with shoulders...doing biceps with back is ok but it depends on how sore they are after back.
 
my routine

monday - chest
thus - back
wed - off
thurs - shoulders
friday - legs
sat - ARMS - BICEPS AND TRICEPS

I have 20" biceps at 5'11 215lbs I usually do back and bis ./shoulders or chest and tris. but I change it up allot and do chest and bis then shoulders and tris. it all depends on how I feel that week.
 
My arms are 18" so I'm not sure I qualify as your definition of big guns. I change routines often... sometimes tris with chest/bis back... sometimes are day seperate.

I'm dedicating this year to trying to get my arms to 19" and I actually think I have a good shot at it. It hasn't been so much what days I've worked my arms... but perhaps my choice of exercises.

Get this: I'm 43 years old and have NEVER done close grip bench for tris. I've never done dips for tris (I shifted and did them for chest). These are considered the two best tri exercises by most people... and they have never even been part of my work outs.
 
do em all, variety is the spice of life, and it doesnt change with training, just mix up ever several weeks or so, right now im on chest and bi's......next month probably do bi's and tri's my guns are 20" i guess its not too bad, the problem is my legs arent much bigger! very long and hard to grow, be cool
 
it depends what you want and what you're doing with your body. right now i'm on a cutting cycle, and i workout 5 days out of the week. i tried combining bi's with chest, and back with tris. But i work myself too hard that after focusing on one part i don't have enough energy to carry on. So what i do is:
mon- chest
tues- off
wed- back
thurs- legs
fri- bi's and tris
sat- shoulder
sun- off

this gives me enough time for my arms to heal before i work them out again. I try to switch up the days during the week, (just to spice up my life:fro: )..... but i generally stick to the plan....

I work bi's and tri's toghether on a seperate day. I don't like doing bi's after a back workout because I can't get the same kind of intensity that I can when I work them seperate
 
I have gone from 15 to 19 unpumped in the last year. I have found what works best for me is to do biceps and triceps together and go all out on arms day but I also pump blood into them on my other 4 workout days as well just by doing light reps of dumbell curls and tricep pushdowns always in between my sets for other body parts on their respective days. I only work them enough to pump blood into them though so they do not get over worked.
 
i thought my 16 and a half inch guns were big. i guess there just sling shots not yet guns.:bawling: but i'm only 5'8 210 and 15% bf.
 
i usually do bis with chest. if you really want a good pump, do bis and tris together. i do that once in a while. i have slightly over 18" arms, if that helps you out at all. i am not sure if thats big, but the girlies seem to like them!!! lol
 
my arms are disproportional to the rest of my body im 6'0 250 but my arms are 20 1/2 and my bf is like 18% right now.

i just came off a three day split but i definitly get the most growth when traing arms in a day of their own, drop sets supersets high and low reps all to failure , pm me for more detail my fingers are shaking from the clen and ittts really hard to ttyppe.

The same thing happened to me when i was on clen. it got so bad that i couldn't write straight. i still finished my cycle though and got shit results. (but that's a whole different story and post):mad: :D :mad:
 
I seem to get better results when I do bi's and tri's on the same day. However, I usually do Chest and bi's on the same day and then shoulders and tri's on the next...working in a couple sets of biceps with the triceps to get the counter pump.
