I was doing an injection... and when i aspirated... a shit load of bubbles filled the syringe. I didn't do anything different... it was in my left quad, 25 gauge, 1.5cc's 1inch....just wondering what this was all about...any ideas?

I get some bubbles when I aspirate, but not lots. If you didn't have a lot of air in the syringe, you may have a leaky syringe. Just a guess.

Yeah I get this almost every time. The more I pull back on the plunger during aspiration, the more bubbles I get. Like sk* said, as long as you don't get any blood.

ditto.

As for the needle not being tight, I tighten my needles every time and the air bubbles still occur. -It's just natural, nothing to worry about.

:D Thanx guys... I was pretty sure it was nothing...i usually get one bigger air bubble commng half way in.. but having about 100 small ones kinda freaked me out.... but thanx again for teh reassuance bros!

I've had that as well... I remember someone saying that it happens if you inject really deep... but I dunno what the hell it is... maybe fluid from the muscle?
