I found out today that every single one of my relatives has heart problems... my dad's only 45 and he has a pace maker! His dad and grandpa died of heart attacks. On my mom's side it's similar. Should I even consider doing another cycle?

By the way, I get chest pains... I'm only 21 so I don't really think these are anything more than heartburn, but all this scares me. I'm very athletic and get my BP and heart rate checked all the time and it's always normal. I've only done 2 cycles and one IGF cycle. Should I call it quits?

My brother, mom, her brothers (dead), her parents(dead), my dads parents(dead) all have bad hearts.
I have trained all of my life from the age of 15 to now 35, I have a resting heartbeat of around 56 beats per mins. There restraints are not mine, but the best thing to do is have your heart checked.

I think 56 bpm is good if when you start working out or moving at a greater pace, your heart rate is then elevated it is fine. If Im wrong let me know and Im off to the quacks. LOL

I also figure that most older people die of either heart problems or cancer anyway, so of course a lot of my relatives will have heart problems. I guess what I'm wondering is what sort of effect do AAS have on the heart? I always thought that it was just for the length of the cycle (like higher cholestoral)... nothing long term unless they're are used without cycling.

I'm planning a trip to so the doctor before my next cycle in mid-November...

At your next checkup mention your family history with your doctor. He should do a blood lipid test and likely an EKG. If you find that you have high cholesterol, it's easy to treat and will head off one of the main risk factors for heart disease. Also incorporate cardio into your routine if you haven't already.

I agree. check w/ your Dr. Not to scare you but my cousin's family had a long history of heart trouble and high colesterol. he ended up having a heart attack at 22 and a double bypass at 34. scary shit
