No. Lived there when I was 13-15.
Lived in Holmenkolen. I remember when they used to have
the wood "trick"(sp?)(The wood train) that went up the mountain to the Holmenkolen ski slopes. I used to go skiing every day.
I'm told its gone now.
Oslo was like a big village when I was there. Now, its a sprawling
city. Best thing about it was the clean air. Damn, those eucalyptus trees smelt good......

From the Swedish Constitution:

Article 2

(2) The personal, economic and cultural welfare of the individual shall be fundamental aims of public activity. (4) Opportunities should be promoted for ethnic, linguistic and religious minorities to preserve and develop a cultural and social life of their own.

These are not "rights of man", but "human rights" or collective rights, which put greater emphasis on group rights than rights of individuals.

Article 14

Simply because the structure of government in Sweden is a Constitutional Monarchy, or Parliament, does not mean that socialism is not a major ideology.

This is like saying that the US does not have major socialist influences because we were founded as a Constitutional Republic. What was is not what is.
