This is the deal. Need advice...

Long story short.

Ordered domestic. When I sent the money, the package got bounced back to me. I e-mailed my guy, told him the situation and asked him to send new addy as he revolves them. This was on or about Dec 6. I received a very small portion of my order on Dec. 16th.

On the 25th, he sends a semi-nasty E-mail asking about his money. I send him a copy of the previous e-mail where I asked him about the new addy.

He replies and says it's cool, to send money for entire order. I told him I would pay for what I received and he got pissed. Swears he sent the balance of order in another package, but he has no tracking # to back it up.

What to do??

btw - by small portion of order - I mean about 1/3 of it.

SO if I'm correct you had a tracking number for the first package but not for the rest ? If yes then I would pay for 1/3 and wait like 1-2 weeks just to see. If nothing happens then tell him to forget about your money.

Yep. I'm 90% sure the package I received had delivery confirmation on it. I got two packages that day. One had it one didn't. He states he sends everything via Priority w Delivery Confirm.

So you should have a tracking number for the rest otherwise nothing else was sent.

It realy depends on the source. If the prices are good and he does alot of business I usualy give a little more leway on how long it takes to get my gear. If it is a bro that I have used and actualy trust then I really don't sweat them because I take their word to be there bond and just figure that they have a good reson for any delay. If it is someone I have never used and I do not know them from the boards and have not chatted with them then I will order small and see what happens. Sometimes though if I am in a hurry I will pay a little more for the gear to someone I know has good, fast, service- Sometimes you get what you pay for. As far as for your situation I would be honest but tactfull and tell the guy that you would be willing to work something out if he will meet ya half way. Either way send the man the money for what you do have. Then tell him as soon as get the second package or a tracking # that you will send the rest of the money. If this pisses him off then as long as you have sent him the money for the gear you have then fuck him and go else where. The hassle is not worth it. Be fair and try and make him understand your side of the picture after that if he does not work something out, don't sweat it and go somewhere else for your needs because apparently he does not value you as a customer- Superfk

Sent him the dough for the stuff I received.

He admitted that he couldn't "prove" with a tracking # that he had sent, so he said he will re-send.

Dude, I've had problems with sources before... all it takes is talking to... if they are going to be pricks and say they sent it (with no conformation) and you didn't get it?

I'd pay for what I got... if you get more, then pay for it.

As a side question, all of my sources usually want money up front... how is it you got stuff and he didn't get hte money first? was it your money that got bounced back?

Exactly. The original package from me to him, inclused ALL the money for the order got bounced back to me because he uses a rotating mailing addy, and I got an old addy.

The guy has always been money b-4. He will send you your stuff b-4 he gets the money.

Well, if he wants to be a good source then he would need to make sure he gets what you ordered to you... especially if there is no way to track the other packages he sent. Domestic mail really doesn't get lost if it is sent properly... and customs really doesn't have any authority over it either.
