There is a big difference in eating an animal for food....if raised and treated in a humane way and sporting a fur coat so you can try to look good walking down the street.

Is it any different than using animals for lab tests? I believe that it is in a few ways. For one, its not killing and skinning, an animal for a coat, It may be to save a humans life. Two totally different things.

Either way, I'm better off not knowing about it or seeing it because it angers me and makes me puke (and I'm not kidding about the puke part) I don't buy fun, real leather etc, I have one Leather Jacket that the company I work for purchased for me, I have yet to this day put it on me. Maybe I'll say a prayer for the cow that lost his life and wear it next week if it gets cold enough.

I'm not reading thru this many pages of replies, but how do we know that wasn't staged by PETA to draw attention and members to their group? Why let cameras in filming close ups of all this?

Also, why is it people get so upset and concerned when it's a pet but not if it's a shark, or some ugly animal getting killed? If an animal must be killed then do it quickly and painlessly. That would be my only complaint with this video.

Here in my area - a Burlington Coat Factory was cited for selling coats trimmed in fur - the problem was the fur was labelled fox, rabbit, etc but was really German Shepard.

So very sad!
