This guy at my gym

Ok, so I went to the gym and have never seen this dude there. He was working those biceps with a pair of dumbbells, just swinging them, literally! no resistance or anything.

he has a big chest, but only lower chest, his arms are very small, and particularly his forearms. this guy must be around 28 years old. he seems to have a good base to build an excellent body, but he appears to just workout his chest most of the time, so his entire body is out of proportion. my forearms look bigger than his biceps, well not that exaggerated.

anyway, i think it's ridiculous when people do this. don't they realize the guy on the back doing some serious squatting is bigger because he is working his entire body? I don't know! I had to say this, these people don't piss me off, they just worry me! Do you have outofprop people in your gym?

If you work out in a public gym, you're gonna see that all the time. I used to try to offer my advice, but then I realized that not everyone wants it. If someone asks, then I'll help them out. Other than that, I just let them entertain me.

guy at my gym has maybe 19 inch arms, good proportion and symmetry up top, BUT his quads might...might be 20 inches. seriously, his arms look to be the same size as his quads. he struts around like he's the shit, my w/o partner and i get loads of entertainment from him.

Agree, they are source of amusement for all of the bigger guys at the gym. Many of them will cop an attitude if you offer any advice, even if done in a friendly and tactful manner, so don't bother. Just laugh at them between sets and continue your workout.

bodybuilding is all about proportion and symmetry. like arnold said, you have to imagine yourself as a sculptor, but instead of adding clay to your work of art, you are adding muscle to your body. considering this, it's amazing how many people fail to train something as obviously important as legs, or how many people fail to see that they may have good bi's but no back. you want to strive for the full package.

The reason I say this is because I get tired of people telling me that doing good mornings and deads are bad for my back. I tell them the benefits of the exercises but they don't listen. So remember it goes the other way too. They think your an idiot.

i never tell anyone if they are doing something wrong. It serves me as amusement between sets. sure some people might get hurt on the long run, but these people don't listen to shit you tell them if you try to. might as well watch and enjoy.
