An exchange I had with one of my coworkers that seems to be into fitness but not very into listening to advice (i.e. he thought I was being cocky when I told him he should stop taking flax oil pwo)
Me:
Yeah, GNC is completey useless, and the way it goes with supps is that everyone has their own opinion - you gotta go with what works for you. Personally, protein poweder, dextrose, ephedrine and ALA are the only supps worth it. Of you wanna get big - eat big and lift hard. If you want to get shredded - eat right and hit the treadmill. It's that simple.

very true...no sense trying to get big anymore (too $$$ and not good for you/me to carry around extra weight...even if it's mostly muscle)
