It's so hard. Augh. It really is. I see the poor strays at our clinic sitting in cages all day until they can go to a shelter to get adopted and it really is sad. They are such great dogs and just want to play and be happy...

We just adopted a golden retriever today to be a companion for the one we already have. He's good with the kids and very well mannered. We spotted him on the shelter's website last night and got him as soon as they opened bc I knew a full blood GR wouldn't last long. We're really happy with him.

It is a sad situation. I adopted a handicapped Cavalier King Charles Spanial. His left arm is contracted to his chest and the whole left side of his body is a bit 'compressed' and malformed as the result of being the bottom pup of a litter of 8.

I am the same way! I'd rather donate to animals... but I do both (give my time and money, etc).

But that's why I want to make a good living down the road as well.. because I plan on doing great things with my money (mainly for animals )
