Thinking about moving to Australia

I am about to graduate after one more semester and I am thinking about moving to Australia. For those who have visited it did you like it? And for those who are from there how is the economic picture? Growing? Booming? Busting? Declining?

I have read flattering ads on the web but am interested in a first hand idea.

Exactly. I was thinking about relocating their to fill a position in the company I work for. Sydney is very expensive and most take a train that's about an hour and a half ride into the city.

I'd be working in an IT related field, will have my bachelor's in computer engineering technology. From the things I have heard I may have more career opportunities and chances for advancement over there than in the US. I want to maximize the resume worth of my first few years of post graduate employment so that I can get into a good MBA program in the US eventually.

I have been to 6 countries when I was in the Marines and Ausi was by far the best. The ratio of women to men is much better and ausi men tread the woman like shit so they love Americans down there. I was in Darwin. It’s about 6 deg south of the equator so basically I was in the sticks. The beer is the best in the world. No hangovers at all.
