Imagine going to the doctor and being told that you only have four months to live.
Terrible isn't it?
Now imagine on top of that the doctor says that in two weeks, three weeks at the most, you will be paralyzed from the waist down and be forced to live out your remaining in a wheelchair.
It just happened to a salesman wife at work.
That just boggles my mind. I mean, hearing you only have 4 months left to live is one thing. If I heard that, I would be out going places, doing things, climbing Mt Everest, trekking the Outback, etc...
But she doesn't have time to do that because in a few weeks she will be paralyzed and in a wheelchair. I would be torn between sticking it out and hoping for a longer time yet at the risk of drawing out the end or just killing myself and forfeiting any chance I may have to prove the doctors wrong.
