Things To Take When On Clen.......

I'm just embarking on a 2 week clenbuterol cycle.
Just wondering if anyone has any tips or ideas on other drugs or supplements to take whilst on clen to enhance its effects.
I'm already taking vit C, Zinc, and Flax Oil.
Also anything I should avoid whilst on the cycle?
Finally are liver protectants such as Milk Thistle needed when on clen?

I think there is no need of liver protectors... I take multivitamins also. Well :) and t3 time to time... heheh
 
Why sea salt :confused:

Does clen flush salt out of the body? I'm on clen right now and I always try to eat low sodium, so now I'm confused...

add some t3 for 5 weeks

start with 1 tab and increase 1 tap every 4-5

this works well for me

i wont go over 100mcg a day!

Actually clen will have a negative influence on your electrolyte ballance...potassium, sodium, calcium and magnesium.

Potassium is the most important one, cause you'll lose a lot of it while on clen (you notice you lack potassium when you get cramps - notorious side effect of clen usage)

take some salt replacement (lotsa potassium in there)

Use synephrine and vitamin C w/ quercetin. The synephrine acts as a catalyst for the clen and the quercetin will give you a longer, smoother buzz.
 
Thanx guys, appreciate the info. Gonna be uping my sodium as of now. How much as a rough guide? Shall I just put plenty of salt on to each of my meals?
Never noticed any cramping tho...........
Everybody in aggreeance that clen does not affect the liver or kidneys?
 
Actually I've used clen several times before and beleive adding sodium to retain fluids and electrolytes, to counter clens side effects is not needed. All that is needed is a good potassium supplement since clen use can result in potassium depletion to the point that you cramp up and possibly even result in temporary paralysis, because potassium is needed for muscle contraction. These days, I hate clen and think it's side effects like the cramping as well as shakes (which never affected me) and wheezing (which fucked me up on my last clen cycle, where I was couphing up phlegm like crazy even a week after the clen administration ended) are not worth the marginal benefits it has in aiding fat loss. But if you must use, just use a good potassium supplement daily, the best being prescription potassim supplements such as K-Dur tablets (extra potent comes in Meq strength instead of milligrams) and even better would be Klorcon effervescent tablets, which are 25 Meq per tablet. These will inhibit any cramping from occurring.

Uh....dude,

If you're gonna be giving out advice on how to take a drug powerful enough to fuck your thyroid, you should be much more specific than you are.
"increase 1 tap every 4-5" Every '4-5' what? days? hours? weeks?
What about tapering down???

No offense. It's a responsibility thing.
 
Well I knew what he meant: every day. As I'm only taking clen for 2 weeks, tapering down is not a necessity.
Just gonna bridge with 2 weeks of ECA.
 
Potassium depletion on Clens??

I'm about to jump on Clens today, I'm on na low carb, diet with Xenadrine...is there something in specific I should look out for... and what is the most easily available potassium supplement and food for potassium...also do I have to start watching my sodium intake now??

Bananas have good potassium.. I've heard taking too much potassium can cause cardiac arrest though (supplement form)... I read that somewhere last night...

just take potassium tablets.

Ketotifen - - - - - -- no, not ketamine ;)

upregulates the beta 2 receptors that clen uses. keep taking ketotifen and you dont need to cyle ur clen since the receptors will never downregulate. also, u wont need as much clen to get the same benefits - so less sides

Ketotifen also has been shown to actually promote weight gain in aids/wasting patients check out DNPguru's thread where I posted

From all the differing opinions i guess the lesser of two evils would be some a small banana per day, and make sure i compensate for the carbs and sugars elsewhere...

What would be the dose of potassium in a pill?
Good point, I want to avoid carbs when on cycle, so Bananas ain't a goodie.
 
I wouldn't worry about taking potassium unless you're on a potassium sparing diuretic. When I have probs with cramping I take 5 100mg tabs then 15 more over the rest of the day and about 10 to 20 per day after that. Animal recommended taking a large amount of potassium citrate for lactate buffering before an endurance event (I think it was 1 or 2 table spoons).
550mg Potassium Gluconate tabs and 200mg (?) Potassium Citrate tabs have about 100mg Potassium in them. That's about the same as a banana but doesn't taste as good. B-(

Why are you so afraid by big bananas ? Are you all small girls ? :)
You need some carbs to have good pumps, and bananas are a good choice for it. Just do more cardio if you don't want to get fat, that's all.
 
and the final decsion is..... Big Banana's with extra cardio...agreed it does give me the boost i need for the workout...Now the second question is ...

I could only get tabs of 150 mcg. So ive split them in two and am taking half a tab in the morning with my breakfast plus a huge cup of black coffee so the caffeinne helps maintain the effect... so i figure im taking 75 mcg at one shot...in the morning...how does this sound or do you suggest, breaking theem into quarters and taking one 1/4 in the morning and the other 1/4 in the afternoon.

well, clen has a relatively long half life for a beta agonist and so its not like winny or dbol dosing. I take it after getting up and around noon, or sometimes break it up in to three when I want to use higher doses - but i dont recommend taking it after 2-3pm if u wanna sleep at night.

BTW: thats a hefty dose of clen to start out with - Id recommend taking 1/4 tab D1, 1/2 tab D2, etc till u work up - test ur tolerance to the sides - can give u a bad headache if u rush and its ur first time
