no shit! you should've seen us haggling over financing on my car. they were dumbfounded when we said, "ok, so we don't have the best credit and we're not rich, we understand that. however, how does trying to jack up the interest rate because of those 2 factors ensure that we're going to be able to make payments? that makes things WORSE and it's essentially you trying to put us in a position that we CAN'T make payments so we fuck our credit up even worse."

i had to say it real slow the second time so the idiot could understand what i was saying. i guess he had a hard time understanding that we were not looking at $30K cars because we couldn't afford $30K cars, and just because we were looking at $15K cars didn't mean we could afford payments like we were buying a $30K car.

that and they were car salesmen. none of them are a pleasure to deal with.

you should've seen the look on the salesman's face when i said "ok, so what's the dealer buy rate?"

he looked like i had just shoved a 357 magnum in his face and said, "AND NOW YOU WILL DIE!!!" then gave me a look like he wanted to hit me. he wasn't a very good salesman, actually a pretty shitty one because i was fucking him up every time he turned around. i only bought the car because i liked it and the deal was ok when we finally signed papers.
