Things I learned from my first cycle...

Always buy more amps than you'll need for a cycle. I was supposed to do an 8 week cycle of sust (16 amps). My source shorted me one and I broke 2.

If you hear rumors about side effects, assume you'll have them too. I'd heard about sust flu and injection pain. I thought I could handle them no matter how bad it got, even if they existed. Well, a once a week fever of 101 (usually on Friday night ) and incredible injection pain really hampered my cycle. I should have mixed the sust with something like deca, at least that would have helped the injection pain.

Another point about sides. You may have problems that are somewhat rare to a particular product. My D-Bols made me sick as hell and killed my appetite. I had to stop them after about 3 weeks because of zero appetite. Also, my kidneys absolutely ached for the last week I was on them.

On a better note, I learned that self injections really are a piece of cake and I was doing 1 handed aspirating and injecting into my glutes almost immediately.

Maybe I'll come up with a few more things when it's not so early.

LOLOLOL Yep I learned that from my first cycle too. Its rookie thing...not to worry. Also AWLAYS HAVE AN 18 GAUGE NEEDLE to DRAW OUT FLUIDS CUZ IT MAKES LIFE SO MUCH EASIER!

One rule: Get someone you trust to inject you. It's a lot easier.

Synergy Jim - I had 18s for drawing. The only time I used the smaller gauge needle for drawing was when I thought there might be some glass shards from the amp in the oil.

manny - I told no one about my cycle until this weekend. I had suspicions my lifting partner had used a long time ago. So after a bit of male bonding (we've been friends for a while) I confessed. But I'd have still done my own injections. Very easy.

Also, I can't wait until this these last sore injection sites get better. I haven't walked normal in 6 weeks.

what kind of sust did you guys use?

My roommates and I have used organon (nile) sust for 10 weeks now all in our delts and we've never had intense swelling or any real uncomfortable pain like I hear about. I look forward to the shots, unfortunately my last one is today

what size needle did you use in your delts. did it hurt at all. im going to do my first shoulder injection today and it will be 1cc of sustretard in each shoulder.

23g 1.5" needle, I only stick about 1" in though. I was slighty sore my first couple of shots, just cuz it was new. I started injecting slower to help and heated the amp with warm water everytime. I can't tell ya about the pain, everyone's different. Hope your shots go ok.

Stop bitching about what how you think people give advice on this board. Lately, I've seen numerous 1st/2nd cycle newbie posting, asking for advice. I don't see you responding and helping any. I don't read every post, so you may have.
