Things are looking bad now...

1. The war isnt going very good

2. N korea is gaining ground on us as we shoot our wad in Irak. I dont think we could wage war on 2 fronts at once since Clinton cut the size of our military.

3. The economy is bad, luckly I have money but thats besids the point. The fed cant cut interest rates as a stimilus anymore.

4. The mystery virus comming from China, hopefully that will soon pass.


I think its going to get worse before it gets better. Kinda reminds me of the 70's. Long wars help the economy but that is a shit way to turn things around. Hopefully I'm wrong. I'm not a negitive person at all but I cant see much good right now. Can you?

Regarding number 1.........the war is going well by most peoples standards. It isn't like our forces have been pushed back out of Iraq.

It'll get worse....

1. The war surely ins't going very good IMHO. We waited too long to go in, a civie is screwing up the judgment calls of commanders in the field who know better (i.e., cutting the initial number of troops deployed), and now we have to slow down so that we aren't so thinly spread. As of now, other bad guys are entertaining jumping in because we're too thinly spread to cover our ass.

2. N. Korea is going to be trouble at the right time.

3. This war will not improve the economy without costing other things we'd rather have (like quality of life or personal freedoms).

4. Knowing this virus comes from China, I wonder what the source of it is. Wouldn't put it past China to engineer a deadly virus and knowingly release it. Even on their own people this would be possible as China struggles with overpopulation issues.
