What is the best shampoo for thin hair? I can't wash my hair everyday or my hair begins to get thinner and fall out too easily. I currently use Pert Plus once every other day but i heard there are special shampoo formulas for thin hair that i can use daily. Any help please?

Yes you can purchase Nizoral A-D (1%) at Walgreens, Walmart, or any other pharmacy.

Its sold as an Anti-Dandruff shampoo but it works in repairing hair loss.

I don't know about Nioxin. Is that a generic version?

im curious just how much hair is falling out when you say its falling out

i have really thick hair, but i notice that when i shampoo somewhat vigorously to get gel out or whatever, i notice hairs getting stuck to my hands and stuff
id say around 10 hairs or so fall out every time i shower, but nothing visible by the drain of the shower or anything... does this sound like whats going on for you?

im scared shitless cause although my dad has a full head of hair still, my mom's dad was bald by 20

Nizoral is great. You can actually get it cheap and without prescription in Europe...
There is also a great product that I bought in Poland, called Radikal...The shampoo is formulated from grass and fresh herbs. It is a very neutral, odorless shampoo. Along with the shampoo comes Radikal vitamin/mineral supplement for healthy hair, and some sort of serum for the scalp...

I bought this overseas for my BF, but I am sure that you can buy it online...

you can use all the shampoo or purple magic potions you want, but in reality, if your going bald, your gonna go bald. my pops went bald withen one year(while he was using nixon, nazral 2% etc...nothing will help....just go spend $50k on a scalp transplant

Yup, the genes for hairloss come from your mothers side of the family. Specifically your grandfather on your mother's side. So it looks like you are fucked.

By the way WizKid get rid of that Pert Plus shit. When I was your age I told the chick that cuts my hair that that was the shampoo I used, she told me PertPlus is VERY bad for your hair .

Well i have the exact same hairline as my father and all his brothers. I also have thin hair just like all of them. They have a receting hairline that goes far back and i have that, but my pops is almost 50 and still has a full head... along with his brothers. My moms side is all full heads with thick hair so i doubt its always from your mothers side.

No actually it is not as simple as if your mothers grandpa was bald you are going to be bald! But its fun to F with people! It all depends on wich sets of your 23 pairs of Chromosomes pairs you get from each parent! My grandfathers were bald as fuck and my dad has one of those helmet heads! I had one of those low funky widow maker hair lines that mad me look like a wolfman! I messed around with some bad gear combo's back in the day lost some hair and now I have what would be considered a normal full head of hair! So for me my hairloss worked out great no more wolfman jack for me howowooooooooooooooooooo! But I feel for the Chromdomes!
