Thigh injections???

Are thigh injections painful and risky of hitting a nerve??? what size gage do you use and lenght? just lookin to give my ass a break!

Wow... you... really don't know... much. LOL - Thigh injections kind of seem to hurt me more than shoulder or glutes... I am scared of scar tissue in shoulders though and am opting to do more leg injections now... The first place to put it is in the ass, #2 leg, #3 shoulder, #4 crazy ass bicep injections (you crazy phucks), their is more chance of hitting a nerve in your shoulder.

I am using a 22G right now in my thigh no sweat.

I use 25 gauge 1" pins in my thighs no problem. In fact I rather inject my thighs more than anywhere else.

i use 23g 1 1/4 in. For thighs. shit i use this just about everwhere. I like delts best though they are the list painful for me.

I use 22 guage 1 inch needles for the thigh. It may hurt a bit if you hit a nerve. Also there is a great chance of hitting a vein in the thigh than the glutes

Bro, check my forum from yesterday regarding quad injections. I did my first bi shot this morning and it blows the quad shot away. See it's diffenent for everyone. You just have to try it and see how it feels for you. Spotinjection and this site is all you need to do it right.

Very little chance of hitting a nerve or vein if you inject in the correct place.

Do this...

Find the head of your femur.. the ball part of your thigh bone that sits into your hip. (outside upper quad) Put the heal of your hand on this spot, with your fingers pointing down your quad. Spread your fingers like a vulcan. The spot between your fingers is your injection spot.

The size of your needle should depend on what you are injecting. Oils typically require a larger bore needle, 22g is probably the largest. For water based, you can use smaller bore needles. Also, make sure you needles are long enough, minimal 1" (1.5 is better) in order to get a deep IM injection.

A warm compress and massage afterwards will take care of the pain.

Actuallt www.spotinjections.com has a info page also. It is a good base line to go buy. But as most said, thigh is usually easy (hurts some) and 25-23g 1-1.5" will work.
