Thick bar training?

I have a question about thick bars and was hoping that someone here could give me advice. I am looking to add a thick bar to my collection and was wondering which size would be best?

Do you need it to rotate? Cause those are high as hell.

No I don't need it to rotate, but I had bought stuff from them before, so that was where I started looking.
