I didn't know that. Interesting. The orginal was great though. I hope they don't screw up the remake too much but they probably will.

Texas Chainaw Massacre was loosely based on things that Ed Gein did though I think they just pulled the rest out of their asses. It was still a good movie. Remake wasn't too bad either, well the latest one wasn't. The one with Matt McConeghy or however you spell was just god awful.

Yeah... the new one has ghosts and shit in it. The old one was about demonic possession.

But yeah, the priest made all that up. Made some cash, ended up bitter as shit because he didn't make as much as he wanted. And then started talking about how he fabricated every single detail. The church got involved... weighed in over it and defrocked him.

The priest down here was the one that was selected out of the panel that convened on the issue to give him "out counseling". Which is another fancy way of saying "exit interview".

He should have just been following the rules and abusing children like the rest. Then he would have reassigned instead of being kicked out of the boys club.

the amityville horror had margo kidder in it right? I watched it a couple of weeks ago, they could do better with the special effects but it was ok
