bringing the party to you eh? good move. there have been some interesting political debates, mostly on the measures that reduce personal freedoms. kind wierd to hear the lefts and rights agreeing on something.

you know people cry all the time about losing freedoms, but in actuallity very little has been stripped from us.
i dont really care to discuss most of that stuff, cause peoples minds are usually made up and nonthing you say can change that.
the ones that claim they are "thinkers" are generally just as closed-minded as anyone else. they have been programmed as well, just from a different "box"

yeah but they're going to have an easier time to get permission to wiretap and perform search and seizure stuff. I don't like it. Aslo detainnig people without telling them why for an indefinite amount of time sucks too. Especially if it happened to me.

I'm not paraniod like some but you never know. Kind of reminds me of a move I saw, I forgot the name. Anyway it was a Jewish guy talking to someone about Nazi Germany.

He was talking about how the Nazi's took away the communists, and he thought "that won't happen to me." Then they took away the homosexuals, and he thought "that won't happen to me." And then....

yea i get the point that, that movie sounds like it was written by a scare monger. either that or one of them conspiracy theorist people.
just to use an example, homosexuals rights have increased, how in the world are they gonna decrease at this point, and that goes for minorities, and any other group.
NB if the govt. actually started taking away our rights(it would be impossible anyway, the govt. is made up of people that need these rights) in an extreme way like that we would definitely revolt.
no offense NB, but have you read the new laws pertaining to this, probably not. but you have been told that our rights have been infringed upon. you have taken that at face value without reading it for yourself.
others have done this also, now that sounds like a sheep mentality.
i havent read it nor do i care to at this point. i dont believe its neccesary.
but you see my point, people fall for the scare tatics by certain groups or organizations that have a motive as well.
and these same people will call me a sheep for not giving a fuck about these new laws.
