there is a huge guy at my gym but he is weak for his size i asked him today he said he never uses heavy weight but concentrates hard on every rep he said he never wanted to be strong just big....and he is huge

strength has much more to do with other factors than muscle size. I have seen skinny guys outlift big guys because of CNS superiority, muscle tendon attacment makes a difference. ligament attachment makes a difference. Bone length makes a difference-the farther away a weight is from a fulcrum or rotating joint the heavier the weight is. so yes it is possible to be big without being super strong. muscle growth is dependent on quality contraction not merely moving a weight from point A to point B.

I use to train at the same gym as Jim Quinn. I never saw him use a heavy weight at all and he still maintained his weight at about 267 with virtually no bodyfat.

Shutup HillBilly... Kidding... kidding...

I've seen the same thing... and the opposite... I mean there are a lot of small/light powerlifters that are hella stong...

Size, and strength do NOT directly corrilate...

bump for hillbilly...lol, we are just giving you a hard time....it may be his pumps too, when im on a big cycle its hard for me to look strong cause the blood just fills everything and i cant move..ex: 315 5 times cant get anymore...335 5times.....365 5 times....385 5 times.. i cant get over freakin 5 reps!!!!! its like that on say 225 too, damn primobolan+mast+test:mad:
