Theoretical question about carb cycling...

I plan on starting carb cycling today, monday, for accelerated fat loss as stated in Burn the fat, feed the muscle.. Mon and Tue will be around 150 grams carbs, wednesday 50-75g carbs, and the fourth day Thur will be a refeed at about 300 carbs....

Of course all my carbs will be good ones, even on the carb up days,,, oats, yams, little bit of whole wheat pasta...

Anyways my question is, Since by the fourth day your pretty much carb depleted, wouldn't carbing up at 300 grams of carbs after being 'low' on carbs end up more than filling up your muscle glycogen and end up being stored for fat??? 300 carbs on the re-feed seems alot especially after you've been depleting them.. Seems to me that carb storage would fill up FAST and then end up being stored as fat... Let me know your thoughts... peace

Carb storage is around 500 grams. The fact that your depleting them means its less fattening, because ur stores are empty

And it's not like your not using any on that day - time your high carb days on the hardest weights sessions (e.g., legs), b/c this is when you need them most, and ur getting your anabolic effect for major muscle groups. With leg weights and just general activity, u'd probably use about 200 of those carbs during the day, so the 'refill" u get won't be fattening (indeed, if ur doing cardio also on day, you may use most of the 300)

Finally, 300 grams carbs isn't heaps anyway (that would be 40% of a 3K diet - think about when your bulking, u'd quite possibly consume 400+ depending on how big u are (or at least 300+), and i'm assuming that u don't blimp out on this.)
