so you guys are mixing up rice, chix, and beans? or just rice and beans?

Bump?? Also, why would oats be good PWO. I was under the impression that a good dose of simple carbs were optimal to spike slin levels and deliver nutrients to the muscles to start tissue repair immediatly, am I missing something??

I am also curious on why oats for post workout , we need high glycemic cabrs for insulin spike to transport the proteins , so why low glycemic carbs post workout ?

anyone can elaborate ?

IMO - some people have history of diabetes in their family, may be afraid to ingest pure sugar - and ANY carbs post workout are better than ZERO carbs post workout

that is just one reason I can think of but probably doesn't apply to the majority of people

these bro's are talking about getting to 5% bodyfat, thats why the mention of medieum chain GI foods

What difference would it make incorporating these types of carbs weather you were trying to get down to 5% or trying work down from 15%, cutting is cutting. And regardless of weather one is cutting or bulking, would'nt it be safe to assume that we want the quickest (therefore optimal) nutrient delivery post workout??

Machine, how bout those updated pics?? :p

I will scan some pics tomorrow for you guys and email them to ulter to post up. I will try and post some bulking pics when Im close to being done bulking in a few months.

higher insuling spike = more insulin ready to turn to FAT. again endomorphs and mesomorphs suffer from hi gi carbs sources, the less gi spike the better and faster to cut FAT

So in essence, using a hi GI carb post workout is only beneficial to those with a high metabolism, or during a bulking phase??

georgie my man .

Insulin will not TURN into FAT .....

Insulin will help carrie the proteins AND carbs to muscles ,

but now

if you EAT FAT and high glycemic carbs , you will have an insulin spike and guess what happens ?

Yep , you got it right

Avoid the fats when eating high glycemic carbs and you will be ok

well that what i meant in a nut shell, Be careful using insulin injections as they can make you FAT if abused w/out knowledge
